The Administration and Staff Hub is the public/school interface. It is the focal point of the school for management and communication procedures. Main spaces include reception, offices and sick bay. Main activities in this facility consist of interviews, meetings and clerical duties.
The Public Reception is the main point of arrival for guests and accommodates a reception counter and waiting space.
The Student Reception is a point of arrival for students and accommodates a Reception Counter and waiting space. The Student Reception should be remote from the Public Reception.
The Principal’s Office/Meeting Room is a private room that accommodates a workstation for the Principal’s daily administrative tasks, along with meeting facilities for visitors.
The Deputy Principal’s Office is a private office that accommodates a workstation for the Deputy Principal’s daily administrative tasks along with seating for visitors.
The Interview Room / Office is a private office with a small workstation and chairs for visitors.
The Administration – Clerical area is used for administrative tasks. It accommodates the Public Reception and Student Reception counters, along with workstations for staff to carry out daily tasks.
The Administration – Executive area is used for management tasks. It accommodates workstations for staff to carry out daily tasks.
The Store Room is dedicated to the secure storage of Administration files and security equipment. It accommodates shelving systems.
The Clinic provides facilities for routine health checks, vaccinations, basic first aid treatment and recover/waiting chairs/lounges for sick students. Separate clinics for each gender should be provided.
The Visitor’s Office is a private space for guests to meet with school staff. It accommodates a table and seating.
The Utility Space is an alcove to the Administration – Clerical area. It accommodates storage and a utility bench(es).
Enclosed circulation space for staff and students that functions as a multi-occupant corridor.
