Peter Ellerton is a lecturer in critical thinking at the University of Queensland and is the founding director of the University of Queensland Critical Thinking Project.
His paper, On critical thinking and collaborative inquiry, explores the importance of critical thinking - what it is, why young people need it as part of their 21st century skill-set, and how education can support its development.
