Biology – learning from home
These programs, created by department curriculum experts, can be adapted to support teachers delivering learning from home or in the classroom.
Module 1 – Photosynthesis (3 hours)
In this unit, students investigate the biochemical processes of photosynthesis, cell respiration, and the removal of cellular products and wastes in eukaryotic cells.
Module 3 – Adaptations (3 hours)
In this unit, students explore how structural, physiological, and behavioral adaptations increase an organisms’ ability to survive.
Antibiotic resistance (3 hours)
In this unit, students will understand the importance of using antibiotics appropriately to effectively control infectious diseases.
