Business continuity payments, waiving the gap fee, allowable absences

Business continuity payments, gap fee waiving, allowable absences and the child care subsidy are managed by the Australian Government.

The early childhood guided learning packages have been developed for teachers and educators to support families to provide a guided learning from home experience for preschool children aged 3-5 years. They have been created by early childhood professionals and learning designers from the department.

The packages include a range of guided learning activities such as shared reading, singing, physical movement, creative arts and other engaging challenges specifically designed for this age group that all link to The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia.

A new package will be launched each Tuesday.

If you feel like having a cough or a sneeze, well it's OK. But there's a way to do it safely so you don't spread germs to your friends. Now, here's what to do. Make sure you cover your nose and your mouth with your elbow, not with your hands, but with your elbow and Lachy's going to demonstrate.

Well everyone to keep yourself very healthy and keep the germs away, it's good to wash your hands all through the day. So before you eat food, wash your hands. After you eat food, wash your hands. Before you go out to play or stay inside to play, wash your hands. Before you play with pets and after you play with pets, wash your hands. And before you use the toilet and after you use the toilet, wash your hands. Now how do you wash your hands? I'm going to show you.

If you've got some liquid soap. Well it's just pour couple of dabs on your hand, and then you put the tap on and you start, a little bit of water there and you lather your hands your like this and you count to 20. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16. Make sure you get it between all of the fingers, 17, 18, 19, 20. Now if you can't count to 20 here's what to do. Same thing, put the soap on, liquid soap on. Here we go and just lather, lather, lather and you could sing Happy Birthday twice if you can't count to 20.

You're ready? Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday, one more time. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday to you. And then you rinse off the water, rinse all the soap off and your hands are nice and clean. Now you can get some paper towel. If you've got some, and just dry your hands as best you can. And... Of course put that in the bin, and you're ready for some fun.
