Maximise your permanent employment opportunities as a teacher

Maximise your opportunities for employment in NSW public schools by indicating that you are willing to teach in western and south-western Sydney in your NSW Department of Education approval to teach application.

If you wish to change the locations in which you are prepared to accept a permanent teaching position, it is better for you to nominate specific school locations and areas in which you would accept an offer.

If you wish to make changes to your location preferences after receiving your final approval to teach in NSW public schools you are now able to update your location preferences in Employee Self Services (ESS) by navigating to ‘my details’ and then ‘my preferences’.
