What schools are eligible for the Student Wellbeing Boost?

The Student Wellbeing Boost funds will be allocated to every NSW school with a unique Australian Government Education Identification number (AGEID) that was operating in Term 1 of 2023.

Is the Student Wellbeing Boost related to the Social Cohesion Wellbeing Support fund?

The Social Cohesion Wellbeing Support fund explicitly targets support for Jewish and Muslim schools and students who may have been impacted by the October 2023 events in Israel and Gaza. The $2.37 million provided to New South Wales under this fund is in addition to the Student Wellbeing Boost. More information will be provided directly to schools who are to receive this funding.

Is the Student Wellbeing Boost related to the National Student Wellbeing Program?

The National Student Wellbeing Program is a different fund to the Student Wellbeing Boost. More information on the National Student Wellbeing Program is available on the NSWP webpage.

What are the funding and reporting conditions?

Schools do not need to submit a specific report detailing how this funding was spent, however schools must comply with the conditions set out on the Student Wellbeing Boost webpage.
