Add the 2026 iCal calendar to your email app

We have provided a 2026 iCal calendar file (ICS 35 KB) and a 2026 CSV calendar file (CSV 6.1 KB) that contain the key 2026 school dates. You can add them to calendar apps like Outlook, Google and others.

The calendar file includes dates for:

  • school development days *

  • first day of term for students

  • dates for term start and end

  • Australian public holidays.

* The department determines these dates but always check with your local school as dates may change.

Please note, we cannot provide technical support for calendars.

To import the iCal calendar into Outlook:

  1. Open Outlook and go to File > Open & Export > Import/Export.
  2. Choose 'Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file (.vcs)' and select Next.
  3. Find the file to import. Select Import.
  4. To complete the import, select Finish.

To import the calendar CSV into Outlook:

  1. Open Outlook and go to File > Open & Export > Import/Export.
  2. Choose 'Import from another program or file' and click Next.
  3. Select 'Comma Separated Values (CSV)' as the file type and click Next.
  4. Find the file to import. For duplicate options, choose 'Do not import duplicate items'. Click Next.
  5. Select the Calendar folder as the import destination. This will usually be in a folder called Calendar.
  6. To complete the import, click Finish.

If you need help with this process, you can refer to T4L's guide on importing a CSV file.
