After gaining provider approval, an approved provider must meet several ongoing obligations, including:
- notifying the NSW Early Learning Commission (the Commission) of any changes to the approved provider or person with management or control
- notifying the Commission of any changes to the nominated supervisor and ensuring each service operates with at least one nominated supervisor at all times.

If you hold a provider approval but decide not to operate a service, please submit a voluntary notification of surrender of provider approval via the National Quality Agenda IT System.
Completing a notification of voluntary surrender is a quick process and will avoid the Commission taking compliance action. This is a significant compliance action and will show against your record.
