Trauma sensitive environments
There are many ways in which schools can provide supportive, trauma-sensitive environments for students who have experienced trauma or adverse childhood experiences.
This brief guide outlines a number of simple approaches that schools can implement to create trauma-sensitive environments that are viewed as safe and trustworthy, and empower students to collaborate and make choices.
