Reporting
All NSW Public Schools publicly report to the community each year on their School Excellence activities, expenditure and performance.

Schools report this progress in their annual report. Annual reports are published on each school’s website and include information about the school’s next steps in their pursuit of excellence.
Each year, schools will undertake a self-assessment of practice and development, using the School Excellence Framework to identify areas of strength and areas to improve. Schools use the School Planning and Reporting Online (SPaRO) software to meet the requirements of the school excellence cycle. It gives a clear view of school’s progress towards excellence. This platform is continually updated to better support school planning, giving schools rigour without increasing workload.
Schools complete the School Excellence Framework Self-assessment Survey (SEF S-aS) in the SPaRO software.
