About the teach.Rural Scholarship
If you are planning to complete, or are currently completing, an initial teacher education degree, apply for the teach.Rural Scholarship. Those studying to teach primary, secondary (across any key learning area) or inclusive/special education (K - 12) are encouraged to apply.
The teach.Rural Scholarship provides financial support of up to $7,500 per year whilst studying full-time, equivalent course contribution fees of up to $50,000*, a $6,000 appointment allowance and a permanent position in a rural or remote NSW public school following successful completion of studies. Scholars may also be eligible for a $500 per week rural practicum allowance.
