Teach and make a difference in the Warrumbungles area

The Warrumbungles area is ideally positioned as a place to live life to the fullest. With less than a two-hour drive to the regional centres of Tamworth, Dubbo and Mudgee, it’s the ideal base for you and your family.

This stunning area offers a healthy environment, affordable housing and inclusive communities. Relax in unspoilt beauty or unwind in peaceful country towns.

Living close to the majestic Warrumbungle Ranges provides a great opportunity to experience nature. Take the family bushwalking amongst the spectacular scenery of the Warrumbungle National Park, encounter wildlife up close and by night marvel at star-spangled skies.

Facilities across the area are family focused. However, those starting this adventure solo will find new friends easily though the various sporting activities including boxing, motocross, soccer, bowling, golf, tennis, junior league, netball and horse riding. There are six swimming pools in the area while service and community organisations are also plentiful.

Working in one of these local schools, you’ll not only have the opportunity to enhance your career but you could also be eligible for additional personal leave days and a rental subsidy.

This is a beautiful area. We love living in such an unspoilt natural environment but we’re also close to amenities and all you need to make life easy.
