Our schools are designed to be welcoming and inclusive and the Share Our Space program lets everyone benefit from these facilities during school holidays.

These holidays, we've invited groups to hold activities that everyone can enjoy and which help build stronger community relationships, connections and resilience for all.

Hundreds of outdoor school facilities will be available to use during the next school holidays.

One Foot Forward with the Black Dog Institute

Walk, run or roll in solidarity for the 1 in 5 Australians who experience a mental illness each year. Together, we can show them they are not alone.

Form a team with family, friends, colleagues, your book club... or be a team of one and move throughout October as part of the Black Dog Institute's One Foot Forward FREE virtual walking/rolling event perfect for everyone.

It’s easy to take part and gives you the chance to get moving for a great cause this October.

The challenge is to walk 40km, 60km, 100km, 150km, or a distance that suits you, for the 1 in 5 Australians who experience symptoms of mental illness every year.

By taking part, you are helping fund crucial mental health research and support services at Black Dog Institute.

Visit the One Foot Forward website for details.

By hosting a meal with your guests, you can create a safe space where everyone feels comfortable talking about mental health anywhere, anytime.

Each conversation and meal can make all the difference.
