Our stories, coming together

The artwork Our stories, Coming together was created across 2 selective education events in 2024: Sky Story for primary students (13-15 May) and Sky Story for secondary students (27-29 May).

The arch represents a cave, like being wrapped by a space where there is a family connection within, a safe space. Each story is a unique representation of past, present and future. Each of the individual stories are connected.

The creation of this work required the strength of highly effective teamwork. The coming together of the stories was a very proud moment.

This work was created by Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students from NSW opportunity classes and selective high schools. It represents individual identity and shared success simultaneously.
