School upgrades for Bathurst students
The NSW Government has announced upgrades for three schools in the state's Central West.

Public school students in Bathurst and the surrounding region are set to benefit as the NSW Government makes a multimillion-dollar investment to deliver upgrades at Denison College’s Kelso High Campus, Bathurst High Campus and at Carcoar Public School.
Deputy Premier and Minister for Education and Early Learning will today visit Kelso High Campus of Denison College of Secondary Education in Bathurst to announce upgrades will be delivered at the school giving students and teachers new, purpose-built facilities by 2027.
Upgrades at Kelso High Campus will include four new classrooms, three new student support hubs, replacing six demountable classrooms, along with two new multipurpose workshops, new landscaping, and a new covered outdoor learning area.
Upgrades are also underway at Denison College’s Bathurst High Campus, set to deliver improvements to the girls and boys toilet blocks in Building H, including the installation of new accessible toilets. These works will be completed in late 2024.
The NSW Government is also funding upgrades to Carcoar Public School, which will see the school receive improvements to its bathrooms, with new toilets, tiles, partitions and fixtures, with works set to be completed in mid-2025.
These school upgrades are part of the NSW Government’s record $8.9 billion investment to deliver a massive pipeline of new and upgraded schools across NSW, including in regional NSW.
The NSW Government is focused on delivering new and upgraded schools to students in the regions and creating better communities for the people of NSW.
