- 2020 has been a very difficult year for Year 12s.

- [Anchorwoman] Given many have faced a more disrupted learning environment this year, than in any other year in living memory.

- Today, thousands of households stepped up and entered the first day of a new era in education.

- [Teacher] It's that good old saying that you know, it takes a village to raise a kid. And whether it's us at school or whether it's the community, we've all found a way to work together. ♪ Oh oh oh yeah oh oh oh ♪

- I'm grateful for all the parents and carers.

- Just 'cause we're stuck at home doesn't mean we can't stay connected. ♪ We are, we are together ♪
