Normanhurst West non-operational due to COVID-19 case
Normanhurst West Public School will be non-operational on 23-24 March due to a staff member of the school returning a positive test for COVID-19.

Normanhurst West Public School will resume operations after contact tracing and cleaning of the school is finalised, following a staff member returning a positive test for COVID-19 (novel coronavirus).
NSW Health have thoroughly assessed the situation and their professional, expert advice is being followed in regard to when school will resume at Normanhurst West Public School. The school's community will be provided an update on Tuesday 24 March 2020.
The Department of Education will continue working with NSW Health to monitor the situation and the school will keep parents informed during the time that the school is non-operational.
