Peer information sheet: about supports

Students may receive a range of supports, reasonable adjustments or curriculum differentiation to facilitate meaningful learning experiences. Measures can be taken to reduce drawing attention to many of these supports by:

- ensuring these are discrete and developmentally appropriate

- implementing changes at a whole school or whole class level.

Some students may still be self-conscious about the supports provided and peers may have questions about these supports too. This resource was developed to help all learners reflect about supports within classrooms and school settings, highlighting that teachers make adjustments for all students at various times.

The resource can be provided as a handout to students, or used by teachers in class as talking points to guide a conversation with students.
