Strategies for daily transitions

Changes to routine, and transitions from one activity or setting to another, can be distressing or unsettling for some students, particularly students on the autism spectrum, or who have intellectual disability or anxiety.

In this video, a Victorian teacher outlines some of the evidence-based strategies she put in place when a student in her class became upset by changes to the morning routine.
