This course will count towards Teacher Identified Professional Development (PD) hours (known as Elective PD under NESA’s new Accreditation of PD Courses Policy).

Description

This is a suite of three consecutive self-paced blended eLearning online professional learning modules. They have been designed to develop capabilities necessary for school leaders and anyone who may relieve in the role of principal, to maintain a regulatory compliant, high quality preschool.

Module 1 - Overview of the National Quality Framework.

Module 2 - Educational leadership, pedagogy and curriculum.

Module 3 - Continuous improvement.

Participants are encouraged to utilise the downloadable learner journals as a tool to support the application of content to local contexts, and to consolidate the learning.

P-2 Initiatives Officers and Early Learning team members are facilitators of these modules. Their engagement for assessment and support requirements is coordinated by the learner themselves at any stage throughout or on completion of eLearning course content..
