Ensuring primary teachers meet the time allocations for all key learning areas can be a challenge. Finding balance in the delivery of curriculum whilst maintaining student engagement can be a task that requires meticulous planning and scheduling. To simplify this process, the Teach NSW team and @Mr.J.Learning.Space have developed the Teach NSW Timetabling Assistant.
In line with NESA’s guide for K - 6 time allocations, you can use this automated timetable in accordance with your school policy to develop your termly or semesterly classroom timetable.
The Timetabling Assistant is completely customisable and offers the following features:
Drop-down menu of subject and curriculum areas.
Inclusion of additional activities providing the flexibility to incorporate activities reflective of your school context and ethos.
Ability to enter your school learning bell times.
Keep track of the percentage of time covered across each subject area.
Keep track of whether the subject requirements have been met with a visual tick and cross system.
Watch the instructional video for a demonstration of the functionality of the Timetabling Assistant and download yours today.
