The NSW Department of Education is expanding the Riverina Teaching Hub Program to launch the Vocational Pathway. Based on the Alphacrucis University College Teaching Hub model, this pathway supports students at participating schools in the Riverina region, to complete a Certificate III in School Based Education Support.

Students entering Year 10 or 11 in 2024 can complete the qualification as part of their HSC through a school based traineeship (SBAT) while working in a local NSW public school as a part-time trainee. After graduating from high school, students can use their Certificate III to move into school support roles or further their career in education at selected universities across NSW.
