The colossal virtual Game Changer Challenge semifinals have wrapped up with 14 teams from across the state progressing to this year’s grand final.

Now it’s time for you to have you say and vote in the People’s Choice award.

A total of 84 teams participated in seven virtual semifinals held throughout October and November, using the design thinking process to develop their ideas in solving the real-world wicked problem of: “How might we use technology to bring everyone in our community closer together?”

The 14 grand finalists are vying for the coveted title of Game Changer champions for 2020.

Our expert judging panel will be selecting the champions and for the first time in Game Changer Challenge history, parents, carers, and the school community are invited to vote for their favourite pitch.

Watch the pitches and cast your vote.
Voting closes on 25 November.

The grand final winners and the People’s Choice award will be announced via a livestream event from 10am on 1 December.

This year’s challenge is proudly supported by our partners: IBM, KPMG, Microsoft, Telstra, The University of Newcastle, UTS, Forbo, IntraSpace, Lumination and Winc.
