Open invitation to share our spaces

Participating schools are inviting the community to use their grounds for exercise these holidays.

Share Our Space turns hundreds of NSW public school grounds into safe, green spaces for the entire community to use freely for exercise, every school holiday.

Schools are at the heart of our communities, and by sharing our space, we can offer more than education for students and families across the state. We can give the whole community a safe place to maintain their health and wellbeing by being outdoors.

As our state experiences extended restrictions, access to additional open exercise spaces within your own LGA is more important than ever, especially for those living in densely populated communities.

Not all schools are participating but you can visit the Share Our Space website to see if your local school is participating.

Share Our Space opens participating schools to the community during the school holidays from today to Friday 1 October, including weekends from 8am to 5pm.

The Share Our Space program complies with NSW COVID-19 public health advice.

We acknowledge that a number of local area restrictions apply and encourage everyone to adhere to the restrictions outlined for their LGA and follow the NSW Government's Public Health Orders and restrictions.
