Stay play talk poster

Research has found that peer mediated intervention is one of the most effective approaches for supporting the inclusion of students and for the development of social skills at school.

Peer mediated intervention involves teaching peers how to communicate, include and interact with students who may need support with communication or participation.

These posters are designed for students trained in ‘stay play talk’ approaches in the early years of primary school. A mix of visual and text reminders ensure all students can access these reminders.

Fewer ‘busy’ visuals are provided in the ‘sensory sensitive’ version to help create a less overstimulating classroom environment for students with sensory challenges, such as students on the autism spectrum.
