Power outages and eT4L
Losing power at your school can be caused by many different situations. It might be scheduled when electricians need to work on the distribution board or it might be unexpected due to a blackout or when a power circuit trips.
When power is restored, your school's eT4L server does not power back on automatically.
This means, as users start their PCs they will not be able to logon and/or they will not be able access to their shared files.
If you experience a power outage, press the power button on the front of the eT4L server to power it up again. In approximately ten minutes, users should be able to logon normally.
This will save you the time and delay of logging a service desk request.
