Students can:

  • interpret linear relationships created from simple number patterns and equations.

Activities to support the strategy

1. Students match cards to align the features of linear graphs with the feature of their algebraic representation, including those related to slope, intercepts and the coordinates of points on the line.

2. Students use a graphics calculator, graphing software or spreadsheet software to graph and investigate a range of linear relationships.
