Principals should complete either or both of the following NAPLAN 2023 training options:

Live sessions

• Update webinar - NAPLAN 2023 overview (all staff) (1.0 hour)

eLearning

• Module 1: NAPLAN overview – including Principal’s responsibilities (45 mins)

Note: Principals who are also their school's NAPLAN coordinator should also complete the required training for NAPLAN coordinators.

NAPLAN coordinators

NAPLAN coordinators who participate in this training do not need to attend the NAPLAN 2023 test administrator training live online session, as the test administrator role is covered in the NAPLAN coordinators full day training.

New to NAPLAN 2023

Staff who are new to the NAPLAN coordinator role should complete the NAPLAN coordinator training 2023 live online session (6.0 hours).

Disability adjustment training

An online live training session is also available to help understand disability adjustments in NAPLAN. The 60 minute session provides an overview of disability adjustment codes, new features and functionality and a question and answer opportunity for participants.

Test administrators

New to NAPLAN 2023

Staff who will undertake the role of test administrator for NAPLAN 2023 and have not previously participated in NAPLAN training can participate in a 2 hour live online training session.
