Year A milestone
  • Develop a whole-school professional learning approach linked to strategic directions for school improvement.
  • Research 2015 – 2017 Horizon reports to analyse world-wide trends to establish future directions .
  • Refine skills in implementing school-wide Learning to Learn framework to ensure consistent school-wide practice.
Year B milestone
  • Build capacity in designing and delivering exemplar lessons around the Learning to Learn Framework, using formal and informal mentoring.
  • Establish a ‘Techsperts’ program for students in Year 3 to Year 5 to facilitate the development of student leadership and problem–solving skills with greater ownership in the implementation of school–wide creative and productive technologies.
Year B milestone
  • Develop high levels of trust.
  • We have linked with the University of New England to implement action research in order to measure growth in trust across our school community and willingness to take risks in our learning journey.
  • Investigate and develop ‘I can statements’ aligned to the Learning to Learn Framework, to support assessment capable students.
  • Trial 1:1 learning in Stage 3.
Year D milestone
  • Establish K-6 coding and robotics clubs with the purpose of immersing students in the fundamental skills required for coding and robotics at their age and development level.
  • Refine and implement ‘I can statements’ aligned to the Learning to Learn framework.
