Flexible Learning Space by Design for Teacher Librarians (Online)
Innovative learning environments can support future-focused learning and ensure flexibility in the short and long term, aiming to equip our students for their futures. Many Teacher Librarians are redesigning their Library spaces through the design thinking process to enable future-focused learning and teaching and better reflect the workspaces that students will be entering into.
Participants will be guided through a design thinking process to create, prototype and evaluate the impact of their own flexible Library spaces.
Participants must attend ALL THREE online sessions. This is a complete professional learning workshop that has been divided into three sessions to enable participants to carry out elements of the design process between sessions. As such, the workshop can only be completed by participating in all three sessions. Please note also that participants must enrol in all three sessions separately via MyPL.
Sessions will be administered using Adobe Connect. This will offer the opportunity to discuss, question and offer feedback to colleagues while working collaboratively to develop great Library designs. Participants will be emailed with details on how to join the workshops prior to commencement.
