Deputy Principal Induction Conference
About the DPIC
The Deputy Principal Induction Conference is a core component of engagement for newly appointed, first time deputy principals or recently appointed long-term relieving deputy principals.
The conference program is grounded in evidence-informed research and aims to:
- deepen deputy principals’ understanding of their role
- support deputy principals in meeting their accountabilities
- develop leadership capability by strengthening school leadership and management practices
- build collegial networks.
Who should participate?
Newly appointed, first time deputy principals and recently appointed long-term relieving deputy principals (six months or more) who have not previously attended an induction conference.
Both conferences have been completed for 2021. Details on the 2022 conference will be published when available.
