Rural and Remote Leaders invitation into a special program
Rural and Remote Leaders are invited to take part in a special development program designed just for them.
12 March 2021
Following the success of the School Leadership Institute’s (SLI) pilot Rural and Remote Leadership Development Program (RnRLDP), a new cohort of aspiring and current rural and remote leaders are being invited to take part in the second round of the program.
The (RnRLDP) supports the leadership development of aspiring and current leaders in NSW rural and remote public schools. The 12-month program is intensive, action-oriented, and tailored to the unique needs of leaders in rural and remote settings. It is delivered by the SLI and academic partners with a focus on leading learning and leadership inquiry in context.
The program is designed for those rural and remote leaders who are willing to commit to a challenging program, committed to the leadership development of self and others, and committed to the sustainability and viability of NSW rural and remote public schools.
To successfully complete the twelve-month program participants must deeply engage in all leadership seminars and learning activities; engage in a process of sequential improvement with support and challenge of a mentor; lead an evidence-informed inquiry in their school context; develop evidence of learning and leadership impact and meet program requirements at a high standard.
