Deputy Principal Induction Conference

Registrations are now open for the School Leadership Institute’s 2023 Deputy Principal Induction Conference from 1-2 June.

About the DPIC

The 2023 Deputy Principal Induction Conference (DPIC) will be delivered online from 1-2 June.

The conference program is grounded in evidence-informed research and aims to:

  • deepen deputy principals’ understanding of their role
  • support deputy principals in meeting their accountabilities
  • develop leadership capability by strengthening school leadership and management practices
  • build collegial networks.

Teacher relief will be available to participants, funded by the SLI. 

Who should participate?

Deputy principals and long-term relieving deputy principals (6 months or more) who have not previously attended a DPIC.

Facilitators

Our world-class program provides an exciting opportunity for established deputy principals to support the leadership development of new and emerging deputy principals, while also enhancing their own knowledge and understanding.

Expressions of Interest for experienced deputy principals who are interested in facilitating at the 2023 conference are now open.
