Teachers complete 100 hours of professional development at or above Highly Accomplished including:
- a minimum of 20 hours of NESA Registered Professional Development at Highly Accomplished and Lead and
- Teacher Identified Professional Development (TIPD) and
- a minimum of 20 hours of professional commitment activities that support the professional development and practice of colleagues, such as: mentoring teachers, supervising teacher education students, provisional/conditional teachers or Proficient Teachers, leading PD, developing and implementing projects, and writing for publications.
Highly Accomplished Teachers must evaluate their NESA Registered Professional Development and record their TIPD/professional commitment activities in their NESA online account.
