Description

Over four, one hour online sessions the value of depth studies in supporting student engagement and self-efficacy will be highlighted. Information and guidance about the Stage 6 syllabuses’ intention will be provided. Teachers will develop strategies to support students as they take ownership of their own learning and develop and demonstrate skills in self-regulation, problem solving, collaboration and critical thinking. Teachers will build their confidence in making consistent judgement (using student work samples) against standards, and be provided with tools and examples of a range of assessments (summative, formative and diagnostic).

In order to achieve 6 registered hours of professional learning teachers must attend and participate in all four sessions and submit a short deliverable activity for each session..
