JobSearch is Australia's largest free online jobs website. It is funded and operated by the Australian Government as a free service to assist job seekers into employment and connect employers with quality staff.

Centrelink

Centrelink provides a range of financial assistance for people with disability and their families and carers. Specialist disability employment services are available to assist job seekers.

Commonwealth Respite Care and Carelink Centres

Commonwealth Respite Care and Carelink Centres are information centres for older people, people with disabilities and those who provide care and services. Centres provide free and confidential information on community aged care, disability and other support services available locally, interstate or anywhere within Australia.

Companion Card

The Companion Card is issued to people who have a significant, lifelong need for high level of care to participate in community based activities. The Companion Card allows a person’s carer free entry into participating venues and events.

Department of Family and Community Services: Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC)

ADHC provides a range of services for people with disability and their families and carers. Services include early intervention, everyday living support (including therapy, case management and behaviour support), post school transition and respite care.

Disability Employment Services (DES)

Disability Employment Services helps job seekers with disability, injury or health conditions prepare for, find and keep a job.

EnableNSW

EnableNSW provides equipment, and in some cases attendant care, to assist eligible residents of NSW with a permanent or long-term disability by providing assistive technology in the areas of mobility, self care, communication, and respiratory support. EnableNSW also has continence assistance and younger people in residential aged care programs.

Job Services Australia is an Australian Government employment services system that supports job seekers and employers.

JobAccess

JobAccess is an information and advice service funded by the Australian Government. It offers help and workplace solutions for people with disability and their employers.

Medicare

Medicare provides a range of benefits, payments and services to help with the cost of using health care services, buying prescription medicines or medical equipment.

National Disability Coordination Officer Program

The Australian Government's National Disability Coordinator Officer Program assists people with a disability to access post school education and training, and subsequent employment.

NSW Centre for Effective Reading

The NSW Centre for Effective Reading is a specialist service providing information about teaching, reading and supporting students with complex reading difficulties through its dedicated website. Direct support is also available for rural and remote primary school aged students with complex reading difficulties and their teachers.

NSW Ministry of Health

NSW Ministry of Health provides expert health advice to the NSW Department of Education on student health issues and has a range of publications and information on its website.

TAFE NSW - Disability services

TAFE NSW employs specialist staff, known as teacher/consultants for students with disabilities, to ensure students with disabilities have equal access to training. Each teacher/consultant has expertise in a specific disability area.

Transport for NSW

Transport for NSW offers travel concessions for people with disability and their attendants and carers.
