In this 15 week unit of work, students investigate bioplastics and other sustainable materials, applying design thinking to redesign a household product with improved environmental impact.

The program integrates design processes, innovation and technology applications, developing students’ understanding of sustainable design principles, material properties and responsible production practices in contemporary design contexts.
