The increasing use of e-bikes and e-scooters within school communities has created new road safety considerations for schools, particularly relating to student safety, communication with families, and school procedures.

Schools play an important role in responding to emerging modes of travel and supporting consistent, proactive approaches to road safety within their school environment.

These 20-minute drop-in sessions are designed for principals and school executive staff looking for advice about current e-bike and e-scooter regulations in NSW. They provide information and resources to support the promotion of safe and responsible travel to and from school.
