This program equips students with the knowledge, skills and strategies to make informed decisions that enhance and promote personal health and wellbeing.

This program gives students the knowledge and skills to make good choices that improve their health and wellbeing. Students will look closely at different sources of information about food, learn what affects their food choices, and think about eating habits based on their own needs and the Australian Government’s guidelines.

Students will study how mental health and body image affect wellbeing, and plan actions to help themselves and others feel better. Students will also learn safety tips and the importance of support from others when dealing with drug and alcohol problems. They will explore why young people use drugs and alcohol and think about ways to make healthy, smart decisions.
