Assessment tasks

Students investigate how mathematical networks can model real-world connections by exploring Aboriginal songlines and star maps and analysing global travel routes. They apply network concepts such as vertices, edges, shortest paths, and minimum spanning trees, and use their networks to solve problems involving distance, routes, and time zones.
