Maintaining a focus on literacy and numeracy (primary) - Monitoring and supporting learning with PLAN2

Purpose

This professional learning can assist schools to maintain a focus on students’ literacy and numeracy development in their teaching and learning as students return to school following learning from home. It builds an understanding of how teachers and leaders can use PLAN2 to:

  • identify students’ strengths and needs
  • plan for the targeted teaching of identified priorities​
  • monitor students’ literacy and numeracy progress and shape feedback
  • reflect upon and evaluate impact of teaching to inform next steps

Who should participate?

Year K-6 teachers and school leadership teams.
