Conditions of entry

  1. By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. To enter the competition, email an image or video of you and your friends cheering on the Women’s International Cricket Team to beat New Zealand before the match taking place at North Sydney Oval on Saturday 29 September for the chance to win a coaching clinic at your local NSW public school.
  3. Entry is automatic upon satisfactory completion and lodgement of your entry to within the Competition Period – see competition opening and closing times/dates set out in “Important dates” above.
  4. Entrants must be over the age of 13 years or have the permission of an Adult over the age of 18 and have a postal address within Greater Sydney.
  5. Entrants must be enrolled in a NSW public school to be eligible.
  6. By submitting an entry, entrants affirm that their entry is original and that they own all rights to the entry. Entrants agree that such rights are assigned to the NSW Department of Education without the payment of any further fee or compensation.
  7. Multiple entries per person are permitted, however only one (1) prize per person will be awarded.
  8. Prize: There is one major (1) prize of a Woolworths Cricket Blast school clinic. There are ten (10) supplementary family pass prizes. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
    • A Woolworths Cricket Blast school clinic with an Australian or W/BBL player will take place between 1st February and 30th September 2019, subject to availability.
    • A family pass consists of two adult tickets and up to 3 children.
    • Adult tickets are valued at $15 per ticket. Children under the age of 15 are admitted free with a full paying and valid match ticket.
    • Competition winners will need to provider the organiser with the number of children’s tickets they require up to a maximum of three (3).
  9. The judges selecting the competition winner(s) will be staff from the NSW Department of Education. The judges will review all valid entries received during the Competition Period and determine the winner(s) based on originality and creativity of such entries.
  10. Results of the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  11. The winner(s) will be notified via return email.
  12. To claim a prize, the winner(s) must contact the NSW Department of Education by a direct email message and provide their postal address within 4 days of being notified of the win. If a winner fails to comply with this requirement, their prize will be forfeited (without recourse) and another prize winner will be selected in accordance with the process set out above.
  13. Once the prize or all prizes have been validly claimed, the results will be published on the NSW Department of Education’s Facebook or website page.
  14. No responsibility will be taken or allowance made for late, lost or misdirected entries or correspondence.
  15. The Promoter is the NSW Department of Education of 105 Phillip Street, Parramatta, 2150, NSW.
  16. Staff of the NSW Department of Education and associated agencies and the immediate families of such staff are not eligible to enter.
  17. By entering the competition, the winner agrees to participate in publicity relating to the competition on the reasonable request of the NSW Department of Education.
  18. By entering the competition, the entrant affirms that all identified subjects agree to the Permission to use Photography statement below. The entrant gives permission for the NSW Department of Education to use part or all of the video clip/s or image/s on their digital media channels.

Note: The NSW Department of Education reserves the right to immediately remove any non-genuine, unsuitable, obscene or otherwise unacceptable email/posts or other material. Entrants emailing/posting such materials will be automatically disqualified and may be blocked from the NSW Department of Education email lists/Facebook page at the NSW Department of Education’s absolute discretion.

Permission to use photography statement

I grant to NSW Department of Education, its representatives and employees the right to use video and or photographs submitted, taken by or on behalf of the NSW Department of Education in connection with the above-identified subject. I authorise NSW Department of Education, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically.

I agree that NSW Department of Education may use such video or photographs, submitted or taken by or on behalf of the NSW Department of Education and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, web content and NSW Department of Education social media.
