At this two day workshop teachers will explore learning activities within a PDHPE K-6 context, and consider whole-school strategies to engage students and the school community in being safer road users.
This professional learning event is delivered as two single workshop days held several months apart to give participants time to share their learning from day 1 with colleagues, and discuss and prioritise actions for development at workshop day 2.

Cost: Workshop costs are subsidised by the department’s Road Safety Education Program. One day casual teacher relief is available for each day if your school hasn’t previously attended. Additional teachers are welcome to attend with relief paid by own school. |
Pre-requisites: Some pre-workshop activities are required prior to participating in both workshop days. Details provided on registration. |
Completing this two day workshop will contribute 10 hours of elective professional development addressing 2.1.2, 3.3.2, 3.4.2, 6.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
