In this two day workshop teachers will explore the PDHPE K-10 syllabus through a road safety and whole-school community lens, and plan what this looks like for their students.
This professional learning event is delivered as two single workshop days held several months apart to give participants time to share their learning from day 1 with colleagues, and discuss and prioritise actions for development at workshop day 2.

Cost: Workshop costs are subsidised by the department’s Road Safety Education Program. One day casual teacher relief is available for each day if your school hasn’t previously attended. Additional teachers are welcome to attend with relief paid by own school. Your school should have been provided with 2 days funding to attend. |
Pre-requisites: Some pre-workshop activities are required prior to participating in both workshop days. Details provided on registration. |
Completing this workshop will contribute five hours of NESA elective professional development addressing 1.1.2, 2.1.2, 3.3.2, 6.2.2 and 7.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers, for gaining or maintaining proficient teacher accreditation in NSW.
