Professional learning

The science faculty self reflection tool (DOC 58KB) can be used to assess improvements in practice in the areas such as administration and accountability, staff support, syllabus implementation, assessment, evaluation, storeroom and chemical organisation.

Programming for quality teaching and assessing is a professional learning module that guides teachers through the four stages of the teaching and learning cycle.

The SyllabusPLUS series of Adobe Connect sessions was made to assist teachers with the implementation of the NSW syllabuses for the Australian curriculum. Each session explores different aspects of the syllabus for teachers to deepen their knowledge of content and pedagogy. Recordings of the sessions can be found below. Schools can schedules events in MyPL (requires login) using the appropriate course code.
