Play based pedagogy – Part 2: Working with families

Evidence tells us that young children learn best when they are actively engaged, interacting and co-constructing learning. Play provides an opportunity for children to explore ideas, concepts and develop relationships.

This session will focus on practical ways to work in partnerships with families in providing meaningful learning through play experiences in the home. It will support teachers to make learning visible for families and provide useful tips and strategies to take the learning further.

Target audience

Preschool and Early Stage 1 teachers.

Mode of delivery

The professional learning is registered with NESA and can be accessed via MyPL to gain hours for completion.
