Do you know someone looking to make a difference as a teacher in a rural or remote NSW public school? Great news, current Year 12 students and university students commencing or continuing an initial teacher education course in 2022 can now apply for a teach.Rural Scholarship.
The teach.Rural Scholarship provides financial support of up to $50,000 in equivalent upfront course contribution fees, $7,500 per year whilst studying full-time, a $6,000 appointment allowance and a permanent teaching position in a rural or remote NSW public school following successful completion of studies. You may also be eligible for a $500 a week rural practicum allowance.
