Applications are now open for the Teach and Learn Scholarship (High Demand Subject Areas).

Are you interested in retraining as a teacher of a high-demand subject area? Great news, applications for the NSW Department of Education’s Teach and Learn Scholarship (High Demand Subject Areas) are now open.
As a scholar, you can be supported to retrain as a teacher of mathematics, physics, engineering studies, industrial technology - metal, industrial technology - timber, industrial technology - metal and timber or agriculture.
Teach and Learn scholars receive:
- up to $20,000 per year of full-time study;
- $500 per week while completing a practicum;
- up to eight days of study leave per year of full-time study; and
- a permanent position in a NSW public school upon completion of studies.
