Are you a school leader looking for an exciting and career-defining opportunity? Would you like to make a difference to the lives of children and young people through building and developing genuine community partnerships? If so, a role as a Connected Communities Executive Principal may be for you.
Under the Connected Communities Strategy, Executive Principals work with their local communities, making changes to how education is delivered within the school, to suit local needs. As an Executive Principal you will be supported to draw upon flexible cross-agency support, making meaningful contributions and changes in schools and communities experiencing some of our state's greatest needs and aspirations.
The NSW Department of Education will initially appoint the successful applicants to the role of Executive Principal within a Connected Communities school for a period of up to two years.
In partnership with the local community, you will lead and manage the school, reporting on the progress and achievements of the key deliverables of the Connected Communities Strategy to the Directors Educational Leadership, Connected Communities.
