The Yass area features rolling green hills that stretch to the horizon. It is comprised of a series of villages, most notably Yass, Boorowa and Murrumbateman. The area is known for its prolific wine-marking, which has led to the creation of an artisanal food and wine scene. Festivals celebrating the region’s food, art and culture are common and create a strong sense of community.

The great outdoors are also on full display in the Yass area. Nearby Wee Jasper presents the opportunity to camp, fish and bushwalk. Similarly, the scenic Burrinjuck Dam provides the chance to water-ski, wakeboard or kayak along the heritage-listed landscape. These natural marvels continue in nearby Brindabella National Park, an area known for its walking and 4WD tracks.

Located a 3-hour drive from Sydney and less than a one-hour drive from Canberra, the Yass area is well-positioned between major city centres. The lifestyle benefits of the region await.
